Institute for Leadership Advancement
The Institute for Leadership Advancement (ILA) was established in 2001 to develop values-based leaders that serve their communities and organizations. ILA instills leadership capabilities, layered on top of the student's academic major, that promote self-development, effective communication, team work, innovation, and adaptability in a changing, global environment. ILA courses are academically based with an added focus on developing leadership skills beyond the classroom — through service-learning initiatives. Our certificate programs aim to develop leaders who are well trained and embrace ILA’s core values of responsibility, stewardship, excellence, integrity, and purpose.
