xPD Graduate Career Series: Leveraging LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a powerful networking tool, with the potential to connect with 154,000+ UGA alumni. In this workshop, participants will learn how to navigate the LinkedIn platform to expand their network.

Participants will leave the workshop with the following:

• Knowing how to utilize common features (such as the LinkedIn Newsfeed)
• Understanding how to utilize LinkedIn for career research (reverse career pathing, finding companies, etc.)
• Understanding how to network proactively on LinkedIn (Find Alumni Tool, Advanced Search, tips for messaging contacts, etc.)
