Writing a Personal Statement: Arch Ready Fall 2021 (In-Person Event)
The personal statement is a tool for describing goals and motivations in an application to a major, graduate school, or other opportunities. By attending this Arch Ready program, participants will:
1. Understand the purpose of a personal statement in the admissions application process.
2. Recognize common challenges and mistakes when writing personal statements.
3. Identify components of a concise, well-written personal statement and reflective questions to help the writing process.
