DESCRIPTION:Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) projects are typica
 lly described as having five main phases or steps: identifying a research 
 question\, designing the study\, collecting data\, analyzing data and draw
 ing conclusions\, and sharing results. In this workshop\, attendees will e
 xplore a brief overview of those phases and will then focus the remaining 
 time on the first two. Participants will have the opportunity to develop a
  research idea/question and to discuss considerations in study design. Ins
 tructors will discuss methods for completing a literature search. The work
 shop will conclude with guidance for next steps and help resources.
