UGA Calendar of Events

It's a perennial question for instructors: How can I get students to read? This workshop will present findings from a survey of almost 300 undergraduate students at UGA that asked them why they did or did not read for class. Instructors will share the students' responses, including the reasons given most frequently for reading and for not reading, and the group will discuss ways that teachers at UGA can increase the chances that students will do the reading for their class.
