In this workshop, explore why it’s necessary to develop comprehensive course policies on students’ use of AI tools and outputs. As participants proceed through a set of structured reflection prompts, they will define your boundaries and plan how to clearly communicate these to students. Participants will examine sample syllabus statements to identify features that resonate with them (or seem problematic). Finally, instructors will discuss strategies to foster academic integrity and innovation while supporting students in becoming responsible users of AI, in accordance with AI course policies.
