 rtist\, educator and researcher. Her master project\, Afro Diaries\, is a 
 collection of work by\, for\, and about women of color that offers a windo
 w into the landscape of miscarriages women endure. It is permanently archi
 ved at Goddard College\, University of Miami special collections and New Y
 ork University. She is a guest artist and faculty at New York Film Academy
 . Alleyne-Caputo was previously university professor at University of Miam
 i and at Miami-Dade College\, guest artist at Harlem School of the Arts an
 d art consultant at Florida Memorial University. A singer-songwriter\, poe
 t\, writer and journalist\, she is also a certified arts in medicine pract
 itioner and scholar at University of Florida Center for Arts in Medicine.
