About this Event
During the first session, participants discussed 5 out of 10 strategies for self-care and community healing. Please join the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for a "Part 2" of this conversation where they will highlight 5 more experiential strategies for self-care during COVID-19. This virtual dialogue is interactive, and participants will be invited to participate in a series of experiential centering activities. All are welcome, even if you didn't attend the "Part 1" dialogue.
While virtual platforms have allowed us to Zoom-in to virtually every class, meeting, and presentation, the impact of both social distancing and witnessing panic over COVID-19 in all forms of media can be detrimental to social, cultural and personal mental health. In this experiential dialogue with Mary Frances Early College of Education community members, attendees will discuss suggestions for how to reclaim peace among chaos and support themselves and community members in healing through action, wellness, and care as they take time to reflect and connect.
