The Statewide Tornado Warning Drill and UGAAlert test scheduled for Feb. 7 for the Athens and Gwinnett campuses has been canceled due to actual Tornado Warning alerts that were sent Feb. 6 for both campuses. The Office of Emergency Preparedness has compiled sufficient data and feedback regarding the use of the UGAAlert system and outdoor sirens from the actual warning today to prevent an interruption of campus activities on Friday for the Athens and Gwinnett campuses.

The Severe Weather Drill and UGAAlert test for the Griffin campus, Tifton campus and the Skidaway Island Marine Science campus will continue as planned for Friday, February 7^th at 9 am.
