About this Event
Panelists:
UGA Cooperative Extension epitomizes UGA’s land-grant mission of taking University resources to the people of the state. Extension employees are located in every county in Georgia and are skilled at translating research-based information for local communities. Extension programming is very tailored to local needs and centers around three program areas: Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, and 4-H Youth Development. Local county Extension Agents are supported by Extension Specialists, who conduct research and work to solve issues that are crucial to Georgia and beyond. Extension also has a history of collaborating with investigators from around the university to conduct community-based research and providing a conduit for broader UGA expertise to connect with Georgia citizens. In this webinar, faculty can learn how they might be a part of this ongoing effort to strengthen the health and prosperity of Georgia communities.
