About this Event
1662 S. Lumpkin Street, Athens, Georgia
A self-described “literary oddball,” Thomas Lux was known for his intimate analysis of the human experience captured in haunted yet comedic poetry collections. In recognition of his extensive writing career and impact on his students, Lux was inducted into the Georgia Writers Hall of Fame in 2021.
Join family, friends, colleagues, and admirers for a special event in recognition of the life and legacy of Thomas Lux, with readings of his work by Sandra Meek, Miller Oberman, and Patrick Rosal. A light reception will follow and copies of Lux’s last work, “To the Left of Time” will be available for purchase. Registration is required.
