The Value of Mentorship: Developing Identity Based Relationships
Being able to relate to others based on shared identities is a great way to form strong and long-lasting relationships. Join the Black Male Leadership Society and the UGA Mentor Program for "The Value of Mentorship: Developing Identity Based Relationships." During this event, participants will:
1) gain an understanding of the importance of mentorship
2) hear from alumni mentors who have marginalized identities on their perspective about navigating professional and social spaces and
3) learn how to join the UGA Mentor Program to find a mentor.
Additionally, this program will allow participants to network with each of the alumni mentors to gain more insight into their journeys and begin to form meaningful mentoring relationships.
