The College of Education Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Conference

The theme of the 15th Annual College of Education Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Conference is “Deep Poverty and Our Community: Taking Responsibility for Transforming Our Learning, Working, and Living Environments." The conference is designed for UGA College of Education students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and school and community partners welcome so that attendees can engage in dialogue and collaborative learning about the current multicultural and social justice issues of our times. The purpose of this dialogue and collaborative learning is to build a more just and equitable environment within our college and community, while fostering sustainability in such movement-building.

Special Registration Opportunities: 

COE faculty, staff, students and community participants have the opportunity to register at a special complimentary rate.

COE Students:
The first 75 COE students have the opportunity to register at the complimentary rate. There are only 75 spots available at this rate.

COE Faculty and Staff:
The first 50 COE faculty and staff have the opportunity to register at the complimentary rate. There are only 50 spots available at this rate.

Community Participants: The first 20 community members and non-COE partners have the opportunity to register at the complimentary rate. There are only 20 spots available at this rate.

Once these spots are filled, registration is available at the regular rate of $49.
