Since 2014, The Linguistics Society at the University of Georgia has endeavored to put on a yearly conference (LCUGA; [ləˈkʊgə]) that serves to showcase current scholarly research in linguistics, language and related fields. In 2025, the society will be hosting its ninth conference.
