The third annual Georgia Hospitality & Tourism Summit is being produced by HFIM students enrolled in the senior capstone class where it has become integrated as an experiential learning opportunity. In a few short years, the event has developed into an essential network opportunity for industry professionals, UGA students, UGA outreach and extension personnel, and UGA faculty. The annual conference is a pivotal platform for discussing current trends and future directions in hospitality and travel while also focusing on the thriving Georgia economy. The conversations could provide attendees with important insights as they continue to help their community with efforts linked to hospitality, consumer behavior, culinary science, travel, agritourism, and community economic development.
