Terry Talks Fall 2020: A Diverse & Inclusive Terry – A Conversation with Dawn Bennett-Alexander

Though we are not able to gather for traditional fall programming like Terry Third Thursday, the Professional Women’s Conference, or our Homecoming Tailgate, we are excited to offer a virtual way for alumni to stay connected with the Terry network: Terry Talks Fall 2020, a discussion series featuring Terry faculty members and alumni leaders.

Dawn D. Bennett-Alexander is a cum laude graduate of the Howard University School of Law and a magna cum laude graduate of the Federal City College (now the University of the District of Columbia). She has over 50 awards and recognitions for teaching and service and established an endowed scholarship at UGA for students who engage in diversity work. Bennett-Alexander publishes extensively on employment law with emphasis on race, gender, and sexual orientation issues. She has conducted diversity and employment law seminars since 1985 and has been featured in national media including NPR, The Wall Street JournalUSA TodayFortune magazine, the Houston Chronicle, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution
