The SIS, or Student Idea Showcase, is an initiative of the TEDxUGA Student Council. Currently enrolled students at the University of Georgia have the chance to enter the showcase and share their “ideas worth spreading” in a TED-like environment. The goal of the SIS is to foster the exploration and sharing of ideas amongst UGA students and serve as the platform for which student presenters are chosen for the TEDxUGA stage. Following the showcase, selected students are chosen by the TEDxUGA Advisory Council to participate in additional curation and join the faculty and alumni presenters on stage in March.
