TEDxUGA is an independently organized TED event that showcases UGA''s leading thinkers and doers. The event will feature faculty, staff, alumni and student presenters as they share their ideas worth spreading. The theme for this year’s event is “Connect.”

The world is made up of connections—an intricate web built from the ties of biology and the wires of technology. At the University of Georgia, these natural and human connections are studied and have found that the remarkable can happen when unexpected connections occur: paths cross, forces combine, people collaborate, and new ideas come alive. At TEDxUGA 2018, participants will explore the stories, experiences and ideas that emerge when things connect.
