Technology Transfer Educational Series Luncheon
Learn the basics of how to protect intellectual property generated through research at this luncheon.
Innovation Gateway's annual Technology Transfer Educational Series, "Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry," is a four-part series that highlights how Innovation Gateway collaborates with UGA researchers to maximize the impact of their discoveries by partnering with industry, or helping to launch startup companies, to move discoveries from the lab or field to the marketplace.
The third event in this year’s series will be a luncheon featuring Chris Linder and Heather Gorman, two intellectual property (IP) attorneys working for Thomas | Horstemeyer, an IP boutique law firm based in Atlanta. Linder and Gorman will present a basic introduction to patents and IP followed by Q&A.
The event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided. Paid parking is available in the North Campus Parking Deck. Please register via Eventbrite by Feb. 10.
