Workshop: Teaching Students Where They're At: A Student Development Approach to Course Design

The Center for Teaching and Learning is pleased to host Beate Brunow and Kara Fresk for this workshop. Discover how student development may impact active engagement and learning in the classroom, and discussion of applications to course design. By the end of the workshop attendees should be well-equipped to evaluate a course’s alignment with models of cognitive development, and to identify specific ways to meet students where they’re at.
