Workshop: “Close Observation: Techniques for Learning (Almost Anything) by Looking”
Educators, both active and pre-service, are invited to attend. Annie V.F. Storr is a scholar and educator with more than 40 years of experience exploring the intersection of art history and lifelong education. This workshop focuses on works of art at the museum, but the observation strategies apply to artifacts, specimens and paying attention to moments of daily life, as well. Stay after for the public gallery program with Storr in celebration of Slow Art Day. The workshop is free and open to the public, but registration is required; email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 706-542-8863 to reserve a spot.
