Workshop: Teach Students to Problem Solve vs. "Answer Get" in STEM Courses

In "Teach Students to Problem Solve vs. "Answer Get" in STEM Courses," instructors will demonstrate and discuss how and why STEM faculty embed real world problems that are authentic to their field in their courses. In addition, they'll model how to help students learn discipline specific-principles of problem solving to tackle new, more complex problems in STEM. Scaffolding problems, case studies and real-world scenarios will be discussed.
