Calling all Dawgs! On behalf of the Tampa Alumni Chapter, you are invited to join us for a networking event with special guest, Linda Hurtado Bond (ABJ ’89), an award-winning journalist, renowned author, and local UGA alum who calls Tampa her home!

Linda will discuss her latest book, "All the Captive Girls," releasing on February 17, as well as her career path from a local TV news anchor to a published author. Linda Hurtado Bond is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and television news reporter. For the past twenty years, she's been reporting on local and national events, as well as writing emotional, human-interest stories on both the best and worst in our society. Linda is the host of Tampa Bay Reads, an author-related television segment highlighting local book influencers, authors, and others in the book community. She has won 13 Emmy awards, numerous Society of Professional Journalist and Associated Press awards, as well as a Florida Bar and an Edward R. Murrow award. Linda and her husband have raised five kids: a surgeon, a nurse, a paramedic, a pilot and a future psychologist.
