Join teaching artist Kristen Ashley McCarthy for a series of three studio-based painting classes (March 13, 20 and 27). Inspired by the exhibition “The Awe of Ordinary Labors” and by other works in the museum’s permanent collection, the workshop will focus on techniques for making still-life paintings using aqua oils. The workshop is open to artists of all levels and experience, from enthusiastic beginners to more seasoned practitioners. A fee of $30 covers materials needed for all three classes. Space is limited, and registration is required. Register and pay for the class.
