Workshop: Strategies and Tools for Aligning Expectations of Mentor and Mentee
This session offers faculty development regarding mentoring. Participants will learn how to develop a shared mentor/mentee understanding of what each person expects from the relationship and how to set up scaffolding structures to ensure ongoing alignment of expectations. This workshop draws from training offered via the Center for Improvement of Mentor Experiences in Research (CIMER) and the work of Pfund, Branchaw, and Handelsman.
This session is a partnership of the Graduate School, Graduate Mentoring Academy, and the Office of Faculty Affairs. Register here.
