The spring plant sale is a great way to get wonderful plants, receive expert advice and support the garden. Staff from both the horticulture and conservation departments will be at the plant sale, along with many Master Gardeners to help answer gardening questions and make recommendations for specific needs.

All proceeds from the April plant sale go directly to the operational costs of the horticulture department. It is with these profits that the State Botanical Garden purchases new plants to add to its collections, orders necessary supplies and hires part-time employees to help keep the gardens beautiful year-round.

Thursday, April 13 is the preview sale for Friends of the Garden members only. Members of the Friends of the Garden will receive a 10% discount and get to shop early. The available plant list will be posted closer to the sale.
