River Basin Center Policy Symposium & Celebration: Day 2

The University of Georgia River Basin Center will hold a symposium to celebrate two decades of water policy development and to honor the contributions of Laurie Fowler, who retired as RBC Director of Policy in 2020.

This two-day event (Sept. 16-17) will focus on the theme of equity in water policy.

The program will feature speakers from UGA along with alumni and partners at other academic, governmental and non-governmental organizations who are engaged on this issue, with an emphasis on the steps needed to achieve meaningful increases in equity.

Day one sessions will take place at the Delta Innovation Hub (210 Spring Street, Athens). Day two sessions will be held in the Ecology building auditorium.

Program details will be announced soon.
