Help plan and organize the annual student-run Social Justice Symposium. The symposium is a day-long event held on the last Saturday in January to foster dialogue and interaction between Athens-area residents and organizations that are working toward sustainable social change on a local level. Topics include access to health and financial services, food, housing, transportation and effective communication. More than a dozen nonprofit organizations will be represented. Come brainstorm ideas for workshops and activities, or find out how to get involved.
