The training is composed of two sessions.  Session One:  8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Session Two:  1:30 – 3:45 p.m.  Participants should plan to attend both sessions

People Skills is the foundational development program created by the Effectiveness Institute. Through this program individuals develop an increased awareness of the impact that their behavior has on others, enabling them to strengthen relationships, improve communications, and build trust and respect with others to create a culture where productivity is at its highest.  Course participants complete an online assessment to determine their specific behavior style and use that assessment to develop strategies for improving collaboration with others.

Program Outcomes:

  • Complete an assessment to identify your Behavior Style
  • Gain awareness and identify the core needs of the four Behavior Styles
  • Develop skills to change behavior to build positive influence
  • Understand the difference between behavior and personality and how behavior changes situationally
  • Learn the difference between your intent and your impact
  • Discover options to manage tension-reaction behavior under stress
