Parham Policy Day: Andra Gillespie

Andra Gillespie, associate professor of political science and director of the James Weldon Johnson Institute at Emory University, will discuss trends in the voting behavior and turnout of women and minorities in presidential elections. Gillespie is the author of The New Black Politician: Cory Booker, Newark and Post-Racial America. (NYU Press 2012).  She has appeared on CNN and NPR, as well as on Atlanta’s local ABC, NBC, Fox, CBS, and PBS affiliates.
