Join the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as we continue to celebrate the Deaf community with an enlightening session on Deaf culture and language featuring Amy Peterson, Brian Leffler, Debra Teesdale, and Laurie Achin, American Sign Language (ASL) faculty in our college. They will discuss common myths about the Deaf community and interesting facts about American Sign Language. You will learn some sign language in hopes of you engaging in conversation with members of the Deaf community in our college and beyond. The event will take place November 5, 2021, 11-12 pm in Aderhold Hall 102.
