Welcome Dr. Matthew Bonds (Ph.D. Ecology and Economics 2006) back to the Odum School of Ecology for an Alumni Seminar! Now a professor at Harvard Medical School and co-founder of PIVOT in Madagascar, Dr. Bonds integrates economics, disease ecology and health system design to address the challenges of poverty and public health. His work has reached more than 1.7 million patients and is informing global health policy. Dr. Bonds' inspiring career blends science, compassion and action—proving how one person’s work can improve lives around the world.
