A conservation corridor on the Middle Oconee River will be the focus of the Oconee Rivers Audubon Society’s first fall meeting. Meigs Professor Emeritus and Emmy Awardee Dr. Jim Porter will give a talk — “A River Runs Through It: A Compelling Case for a Conservation Corridor on the Middle Oconee.” The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion organized by the Oconee River Land Trust (ORLT).
