March 1: Nutrition chat: If you’ve got questions about nutrition, we’ve got answers. Join campus dietitians for an opportunity to chat and ask questions about current nutrition topics. This program is intended to provide general nutrition information and is not intended to provide individual nutrition counseling or medical advice.
March 8: Meal prep: Participants in this hour-long workshop will learn the ins and outs of meal prep, including simple strategies to save time and money while enjoying nutritious, satisfying meals.
March 15: Getting started with nutrition: Want to eat better, but not sure where to start? This program will start you off with all that you need to know about a healthy eating pattern, making nutritious food choices, and provide you with plenty of easy meal and snack ideas. This workshop will be led by the Peer Nutrition Educators.
March 22: Getting a taste of plant based: Calling all vegetarians, vegans, or those interested in a plant based diet. Learn about the benefits of a plant based diet and get tips for stocking your kitchen and preparing delicious meals.
March 29: Nutrition and sustainability: Participants in this program will explore the link between diet and sustainability and learn more about simple steps to promote sustainability while making nutritious food choices.
