The Department of Cellular Biology is delighted to host Nobel Laureate Dr. Michael Young for the Hope T. Ritter Series Lecture. His seminar is titled "Genes controlling sleep and circadian rhythms". All members of the UGA community are invited to attend.

Dr. Young is the Richard and Jeanne Fisher Professor of Genetics at Rockefeller University and he was recognized with the Nobel Prize in 2017 “for his discoveries of molecular mechanisms controlling the circadian rhythm.”
