For this year's Nashville Chapter annual Day of Service, we are partnering with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. 🤝 This is a great opportunity to serve your community, catch up with friends, and meet fellow alumni in the Nashville area! Let's show the Nashville community what it means to be a Dawg! 🐶 We will meet on Thursday, June 1st from 5:30pm - 8:00pm CT.

Need to Know:

  • Limited parking is available in the Second Harvest lot. We encourage volunteers to carpool whenever possible.
  • ALL warehouse volunteers must wear close-toed shoes. Volunteers wearing sandals or flip-flops will not be allowed to volunteer.  
  • We have jackets and gloves available onsite, but please bring cozy layers if you are scheduled in our Cold Food Sort.    
  • Bags, purses and backpacks are not allowed in the warehouse. Lockers are available, or we request that you leave these items in a locked vehicle.   
  • In effort to remain as environmentally friendly as possible, we encourage volunteers to bring their own reusable water bottle.  
  • Volunteer shift projects are always subject to change due to the needs of the food bank. You will be notified if any changes are made.
