This event is a part of the NEA Big Read series, “Something More Pleasant”, featuring Roz Chast’s book Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant?

From April 15-May 31, 2021, women over 40 are invited to post a photograph of their face on Instagram (or submit one to www.theagingus.com) with a short description using the hashtags #myagingface and #rethinkaging. Select portraits will be displayed in a local pop-up exhibit. The project culminates on May 26 with a live, virtual conversation hosted by artist Allyn Rippin and special guests.
