Canceled: CANCELED: MLK DAY: Ivy Removal at the Founders Memorial Garden

The Athens MLK Day of Service has been canceled by the ACC steering committee due to inclement weather.

Volunteers will be removing English Ivy from the Founders Memorial Garden by pulling, cutting and digging it out. Volunteers should come with clothing and shoes to work outdoors on unlevel ground. Volunteers will be bending over and pulling ivy, and then carrying piles of it to a collective area.

PRE-REGISTRATION: Volunteers are strongly encouraged to pre-register to participate in the MLK Day of Service to be guaranteed a spot at their preferred site. Walk-up registration will only be hosted at the kick-off event and will not be permitted at individual sites.
