The Mary Frances Early College of Education will be hosting the Spring Convocation celebration on Friday, May 8, 2026 at the Akins Ford Arena. Parking will be available at the Classic Center and downtown parking decks. There will also be a shuttle from the UGA North Parking Deack running to the Akins Ford Arena. The shuttle is free and will run from 9am-1pm every 15 minutes.Pickup will be at the North Deck entrance at the Jackson Street bus stop and Drop off on Foundry street near Gate 1 of the arena. Tickets are not required for graduates or their guests to attend. The Akins Ford Arena does have a strict clear bag policy in effect. Doors open at 9am for guests to enter through Gate 1 & 3. Graduates should enter through Gate 2.
