This session offers faculty an opportunity to hone their communication skills in the context of mentoring in such areas as active listening, effective feedback, bridging differences, and appropriate boundaries. This workshop draws from training offered via the Center for Improvement of Mentor Experiences in Research (CIMER) and the work of Pfund, Branchaw, and Handelsman.
