Russell Library for Political Research and Studies will mark the 50th anniversary of Earth Day with a pop-up exhibit of Earth Day historical materials, a dramatic performance of Georgia Gov. Carl Sanders’ 1970 Earth Day speech by local actor Skip Hulett, and a lecture by historian Dr. Brian Drake, “What’s Red and Black and Green All Over? UGA’s First Earth Day.”
