Lecture: Jenny Brown

Jenny Brown's lecture, titled "More Than Meats the Eye," will speak about the ethical and sustainability issues inherent in animal agriculture, challenging listeners to take a closer look at the realities of our food system and inspiring people to find a better way of feeding the world that respects animals and helps preserve Earth's resources.

Brown is a longtime animal advocate and co-founder of Woodstock Farm Sanctuary in New York, which she built into one of the country’s most recognized and respected sanctuaries for farmed animals. Brown’s story and the work of her sanctuary has been featured in the New York Times, Cosmopolitan, Rolling Stone, New York Magazine, NPR, CNN and more. She is the author of the award-winning memoir The Lucky Ones: My Passionate Fight For Farm Animals.
