About this Event
Please join us to honor our remarkable journey of being a leader in adult education scholarship and practice excellence at UGA for over 5 historic decades – and allow us to also honor your remarkable achievements.
The celebration will include several events from February 28-March 2, 2019. The main event will be a "ChaDAWGua" on Saturday, March 2, in the spirit of the historic Chautauqua adult education movement in the United States that brought education, culture, entertainment, and speakers to adult learners in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. We will bring alumni, retired and current faculty, and students together to reflect on the past, examine the present, and dream about the future of our field. The day will begin with a special breakfast with you and end with an anniversary celebration dinner.
