The Joint Child Life Program is a partnership between UGA and Augusta University. Students accepted to the Child Life Joint Program will spend their fourth academic year in Augusta, where they will complete specialized coursework and extensive clinical experiences at Wellstar Children’s Hospital of Georgia. At the completion of the year in Augusta, students will have completed their Child Life internship and be eligible to sit for the certification exam.This session will provide more information about the program, including the hospital experiences and expectations of students. Participants will have opportunities to ask question and to find out how to apply to the joint program.
