The Jeannette Rankin Legacy Lecture will feature Dr. Sandra Boham.
Boham, president of Salish Kootenai College, has spent her career as an educator, a social justice advocate, and a stellar leader in American Indian higher education. Under Dr. Boham’s leadership, Salish Kootenai College notably has the highest graduation rate of any tribal college or university in the country at 62%. The U.S. Tribal College average graduation rate is 21%.
Reception following the lecture from 4-5 p.m. The event is presented by the Jeannette Rankin Foundation in partnership with the UGA Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies and sponsored by Jinx and Gordhan Patel. The program is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.
