DESCRIPTION:This one-day course is an introduction to good agricultural pra
 ctices. Small-scale fruit and vegetable growers will learn skills necessary
  to draft a food safety plan\, identify safety concerns\, and build knowled
 ge on certifications and resources.\nThis event will take place on May 14th
 \, 9am-3pm.\nLocation: Old Rucker Farm\, 900 Rucker Road\, Alpharetta\, GA 
 30004\nRegistration closes on May 7th\, 2025.\nLunch is included. Please em
 ail efs@uga.edu with any allergens or dietary restrictions after registerin
 g. Beverages and breakfast are not included.\n\nWe request participants bri
 ng a laptop or tablet that has a USB port. For cancellations\, please email
  efs@uga.edu.\n\nCancellation Policy\nCancellations made a week or less bef
 ore the event will not be refunded. Cancellations made prior to a week befo
 re the workshop will be issued a full refund. All workshops and courses are
  subject to cancellation by Food Science and Technology Extension. In this 
 case\, full refunds will be issued to all who have paid registration fees. 
 Neither The University of Georgia nor Food Science and Technology Extension
  are required to reimburse any expenses made by the attendee prior to cance
 llation except for the registration fee.
