http://cicr.uga.edu/icc-2020/This conference will connect students, faculty, practitioners, and community members from across backgrounds and boundaries to create more just and innovative solutions to today’s conservation challenges. Our keynote speakers are Dr. Elaine Gan (Center for Experimental Humanities and Social Engagement, New York University) and Dr. Pamela McElwee (Department of Human Ecology, School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, Rutgers University). In addition to keynote lectures, the conference will include: presentations from students, faculty, and conservation practitioners; interdisciplinary panel on effecting conservation action; conservation workshops; mini-charrette rapid work session where teams creatively and collaboratively explore solutions to environmental problems; music performances created from research-student composer collaborations; and volunteer trips/service on Sunday.
