About this Event
1197 S Lumpkin Street, Athens, GA 30605
The Innovation in Teaching Conference highlights innovative teaching practices among educators. During this one-day conference, we ask you to share and take away ideas that address the "what's next" pushing us to strive for excellence in education.
Innovative Ideas
Learn new and evolving educational practices across diverse settings. We encourage our presenters think outside the box, and as a result these presentations push the envelope of what's possible in education.
Innovative Format
Each session packs information and tools into "bundles" of four 10-minute presentations, maximizing your exposure to new teaching practices. Our schedule also allows you to network with other innovative educators. You will leave feeling energized with new ideas to share with your colleagues, and new connections to continue to drive your educational innovations.

Proposals
No teaching innovation should be considered too small for a proposal! This conference is an opportunity for educators to share what they consider to be an interesting innovation in their own teaching. Our submission window for proposals has now closed, but there is still time to register and plan your submission for next year's conference.
Emerging SoTL Award
The Center for Teaching and Learning will recognize up to three proposals for the Emerging SOTL Scholar Award. Thank you to CTL for their partnership with the Innovation in Teaching Conference!
