Innovation District Seminar: Georgia Startup Ecosystem

The third event in the University of Georgia Innovation District Seminar Series, "Georgia Startup Ecosystem," will focus on the programs and resources available to innovative ideas and entrepreneurs in the state of Georgia. Tim Martin from Innovation Gateway will emcee the event with presentations from Athens-Clarke County Economic Development, Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC), Georgia Research Alliance (GRA), Georgia's Centers of Innovation and the Northeast Georgia Regional Commission. The speakers will showcase their programs and services, discuss ways to engage them, and be available to answer your questions.

The Innovation District Seminar Series is a new speaker series designed to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity and collaboration, and to promote greater synergy among members of the university’s research, innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems. This monthly forum will bring together faculty, staff, students and alumni, along with local entrepreneurs, community members, service providers and industry representatives, to discuss and strengthen UGA’s culture of innovation.

The program and Q&A will be followed by a networking reception with refreshments and delicious food. Parking is available in the North Campus Parking Deck. Registration through Eventbrite is requested.
