POSTPONED: Innovation District Annual Showcase

The University of Georgia Innovation District Seminar Series in April will feature an “Innovation Showcase” that highlights and celebrates the diverse innovative and entrepreneurial activities happening across the university. Select teams from UGA I-Corps and the Entrepreneurship Program’s Idea Accelerator will present their ideas and key accomplishments, followed by UGA startups and industry partners sharing their success stories. Dozens of entrepreneurs and innovators, ranging from UGA business incubator startups to graduates of the I-Corps and Idea Accelerator programs, will have tables and exhibits displaying their products and technology. David Salyers, UGA’s Startup Mentor in Residence, will also be available to offer advice for all interested entrepreneurs.

The University of Georgia Innovation District Seminar Series is a new speaker series designed to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity and collaboration, and to promote greater synergy among members of the university’s research, innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems. This monthly forum will bring together faculty, staff, students and alumni, along with local entrepreneurs, community members, service providers and industry representatives, to discuss and strengthen UGA’s culture of innovation.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration via Eventbrite is requested. Thanks to Hutchison PLLC for its support and event sponsorship.
